This volume constitutes the proceedings of the 7th European Knowledge Acquisition Workshop (EKAW 93), held in Toulouse and Caylus, France, in September 1993. Traditionally the EKAW workshops deal with the various aspects of knowledge acquisition as a crucial topic in artificial intelligence as well as in computer science, engineering in general, and cognitive science.
