Born in 1989 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Billy Morrey is nine years old when his father tragically dies. Within the struggles of healing his emotions and fighting a new battle with leukemia, he finds comfort in helping his family through the memories and wisdom that he and his father had both shared. When he unexpectedly meets accomplished rock icon Jonathon Roberts, whose music has touched many (including his late father), they bond together, and their friendship guides them through their journey of goodness and tragedy.
