»The Criminal Liability of Providers of and within Social Networks. At the Same Time a Contribution to the General Part of Media Criminal Law«: The study examines the criminal liability of social network providers and develops approaches to relate criminal and media law assessments. The focus is on the doctrinal classification of incentive architectures in social networks and the extended liability of so-called providers of downstream order. By conducting an abstract analysis of the characteristics of digital communication, the study aims to contribute to the further development of the dogmatics of media criminal law.
