Crisis manager and training lawyer Harrison Foster is summoned to Newmarket after a fire in the stables kills six prestigious horses. Foster suspects foul play, and - to make matters worse - dislikes horses but, while representing the Middle-Eastern owners of a Derby favourite, stands at the edge of a network of secrets that will put his own life in danger.
