This study of the apology "Contra Apionem" by the Jewish author Flavius Josephus (38 - ca. 100 CE) gives an introduction to the entire work. Of special interest is the fresh translation, analysis and interpretation of the work's third part, in which Josephus describes the constitution and main laws of Judaism for non-Jewish readers.
