Digital technologies are changing communication, learning and professional work. Regarding the healthcare professions there are a wide range of changes and challenges. On a positive note, it can also be seen as an opportunity. If digitalisation processes in healthcare and nursing are tailored by their professions, positive long-term changes can be expected for healthcare and nursing but also concerning the professionalisation of health professions as well as teachers and trainers in education and training.
