On the occasion of his 80th birthday on August 14 this year, filmmaker Wim Wenders opens the image memory of his personal cell phone used as a photo notebook. From this pool, the artist selected around 500 color photographs, for which he wrote one-line captions and a short introductory text. A school of seeing the world through the eyes of Wim Wenders and a “life story in moments,” as only the most popular of image media – the cell phone – is capable of conveying. English/German text.
