On an island of tropical splendor, with an endless supply of food and fresh water, lives a society of primive people whose members make their homes in tree huts built hiogh above the forest floor. But below this beautiful treetop paradise, live the earthshaking, man-eating predators of the island---the Spinosaurs. These monsters, with their bone-crushing jaws, roam the island after dark in search of food. In addition to the savage Spinosaurs, this gentle society is suddenly threatened from someone with their midst who is planning a violent takeover. Only Troy recognizes the threat.
