Day by day, Daisy the Dachshund got better and better. Within nine weeks she went from needing round-the-clock care to living a normal life again, other than being on thyroid medicine and having a slight wiggle in her walk. She is definitely a happier dog with a new lease on life. Daisy the Dachshund overcoming this setback was inspiration for Shannon to get "back to the books" and make the dream of publishing this series a reality.
